Covid Cooking in our kitchens! Join Vandana as she introduces you to the basics of Indian cuisine, spices and her culture. We will make Butter Chicken or Murgh Makhani from scratch! The meal will consist of Butter Chicken, Cucumber yogurt ‘raita’ and whatever side you want to eat it with - rice or naan. Vandana will walk you through this incredible dish, step by step and share her own tips and advice so that by the end of it you will have a fantastic authentic Indian chicken dish ready to devour in the comfort of your own home! Meet some new folks, open a bottle of wine, chop and saute, have fun and end up with a delicious and flavorful dinner!
- The idea is to cook a new delicious meal and hang out with others.
- Don't be nervous about making Indian food.
- The class will take place on zoom.
- Vandana will provide a detailed recipe several days before the class so that you can collect ingredients and prep beforehand.
- Butter Chicken requires marinating the chicken beforehand. Also Butter Chicken uses yogurt, butter and ghee. If you are lactose intolerant feel free to use substitutes of your choice.
